Job Description
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales of poultry equipment and housing solutions. Your role will involve identifying potential customers, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, farmers and integrators while actively seeking new business opportunities.
  • Solution Selling: Assess customer needs and propose suitable solutions, from retrofitting existing poultry houses to providing full turnkey operations.
  • Quoting & Proposals: Work alongside other team members to prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and contracts tailored to client requirements.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate terms of sale, delivery, and service agreements to close deals effectively.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including quoting, drafting, project management, and customer service, to ensure smooth delivery of solutions.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate sales records, track progress against targets, and report regularly to management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Some type of experience in the poultry industry and an understanding of poultry operations.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of poultry farming operations and equipment.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts.
  • Motivation: Self-driven, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
