Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Service Technician to join our team, responsible for the maintenance and repair of agricultural systems used in poultry, hog, and egg production. This role requires a valid driver's license, strong mechanical aptitude, and excellent customer service skills. Local travel is necessary, and we offer a competitive wage and benefits package, including health insurance, PTO, and 401(k). There is potential for advancement to a supervisory role.
Key Responsibilities:
- • Receive service requests from the supervisor, gather necessary parts, and travel to the customer's location in a company vehicle.
- • Install, repair, or service equipment as specified in the service request.
- • Identify and communicate the need for additional parts if not in stock.
- • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction; escalate issues when necessary.
- • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the company-provided service truck.
- • Assist with warehouse duties or other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- • Participate in the annual inventory process.
Qualifications:
- • Clean criminal record.
- • Valid PA driver's license.
- • Availability to be on call at least one weekend per month.
- • Ability to follow bio-hazard safety protocols.
- • Proficient with basic hand tools.
- • Basic understanding of 110 and 220 electrical systems.
- • General construction knowledge is a plus.
